Are you following these Detail-Oriented Traits?

Nobody is born with the talent of being 100% right all the time BUT to what detail are you able to do it right and the frequency is all matters.

Detail-oriented is a character trait that means being able to pay close attention and notice minor details. Being in a PMO dealing with lots of information/data, it is important to be detail-oriented.

Most often, I found that I’m very good at catching other mistakes/errors or identifying & analyzing the changes from the last version to the current, whereas I fail at times to be detail-oriented when I deliver something. I realized that there are some things that I need to follow to ensure I get it right the first time.

Started reading various books, articles about the same and thought to jolt it down. These are good points to keep in mind when delivering critical tasks. I started following these and found good improvement. Hope this summary is helpful to you as well.

I also learnt that in the process of being detail oriented, I should not spending too much time on details that don’t matter or try to be “Perfectionists“.

Let’ see what are the steps to follow for being detail-oriented.
